Cameron, William R. "Bill" In hospital in Ottawa on Saturday January 2nd, 2010, Bill Cameron at the age of 75 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife Elva (Moore) Cameron in 1984, he was the dear father of Ron (Bonnie) of Perth, Ken (Ruth) of Hamilton and James (Joanne) Cameron of Carleton Place. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Colton, Austin, Amber, Logan, Drake, Devon, Ewen and Adele, his sister Beth (late Max) Skanes of Nepean, all his family and many good friends. Bill retired from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food as a meat inspector; he was a member of Branch 244, Royal Canadian Legion, Perth and the Seaway Hunt Club. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Tuesday January 5th, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Rideau Ferry Cemetery. In recognition that Bill was a heart transplant recipient 14 years ago, the family suggest memorial donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
