From June 1952 until October 1952, Jean, Adele,Lenore and I spent
that time in each other's company while our husbands were all away
on HMCS Magnificent on a Mediterranean cruise. We envied the trip and it seemed like a very long time to be away from each other. I do believe that we had dinner in each other's homes every Sunday until the ship returned. It seems to me that Jean and Mil had just been
married, and, when we started out to meet the ship in Halifax, she
found that she had trouble remembering what he looked like.
It is a long time ago, but I my send my sincere condolences to her
family.
