Schnobb, Irene (nee O’Hara) Passed away peacefully in hospital, Gatineau Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Peter Schnobb. Survived by her daughter Jayne Lewis. Loving grandmother of Amanda Chantigny, Tanya MacIntosh (Neil) and Casey Lewis. Proud great-grandmother of six: Brendon (20), Hayley (16), Hollyann (12), Dominique (10), Jorja (3) and Brady (1). Predeceased by her brothers Alan and Billie and her sister Vera. Irene lived life to the fullest, enjoying her long life and her independence. She loved to travel, collect antiques, garden and entertain. She was proud of being Irish, having the distinction of being born on Armistice Day, November 11, 1918, and of her home in Easton’s Corners where she lived until recently. She was an amazing lady who left a lasting impression on those who met her with her wonderful tales of her childhood. She will be missed greatly by those who knew her well.
