Shanks, Elizabeth "Betty" Passed away peacefully at home, Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Shanks in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Tara (George) Tutecky. Loved grandmother of George Tutecky and Sara Tutecky (Mark Lanctot). Dear sister of Richard Shanks (Joan Nicholson). Sadly missed by her nieces Corrine Shanks, Elizabeth Shanks, Judy Bryan, Sharon Durette and Betty Gail Rowsome. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Friday, April 30th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at a later date. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
