How clearly I remember your father, Bill. I was saddened to learn of his passing and wish you all my most sincere condolences, however belatedly. We grew up quite close to each other, Bill beside the high school and I at 22 Drummond St. W. We played ww2 soldiers together, had many snowball fights and frequently had suppers and lunches in each other's homes. Bill's mother Aileen and my mother Ruth Wilson (Judge F.W.Wilson's wife) were very close friends along with Mrs. Harrison (Druggists wife) and so many others. Bill, Peter Code, John Fowler, Glenn Girdwood and myself used to help my Mom set up in the summer during the war to send off the new recruits to England, too, too many did not come back. My home was a "drop in" Centre for the boys and few girls heading overseas, it was indeed a wonderful but, emotional time as we saw them off on the train. So many memories. Again, my most sincere condolences and if you would like to learn some factual strories about your Dad, Grandfather, etc. please do not hesitate to send me an email of enquiry. My kindest regards to you all and take the best of care. Arthur G Wilson
