Every year in august, we would go stay with Nanny and papa while mom and dad had their weekend away, at the Ompah Stomp, and I remember the first morning that we would wake up Nanny always made sure to wash the girl's hair, in the kitchen sink, with her pretty smelling conditioner.. at first we ALWAYS complained, because she always dug her fingers in there, and gave us a good washing, but years later, we missed that!! It was a rare treat to have Nanny wash our hair, and that's just one memory that always stuck in my mind.
