McPhee, James Merle Passed away surrounded by his family in hospital in Smiths Falls on Sunday, July 11th, 2010 at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 59 years Murlin Ruth (Peters) and his 7 children; Carolyn (late Denis) Drouin, Joanne (Albert) Patterson, Marlene Richardson, Darlene Mann, Richard (Tammy Whitmore) and the late Barbra Diane and Eleanor Lowry. He will be fondly remembered by his son-in-law Pat Lowry, his 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Merle will also be missed by his sisters Rose (Donald) Sommerville and Sophia Blackburn; predeceased by 3 brothers and 7 sisters. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Tuesday, July 13th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held St. Paul's United Church, Perth on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
