Passed away peacefully in hospital, Kingston on Friday, March 11, 2011, Marjorie Pearl Buchanan (Crosbie) at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late William Carl Buchanan. Loved mother of Jim (Joan) Buchanan, Mary Buchanan both of Kingston, Tom (Colleen) Buchanan of Gananoque, Teresa (Albert) Tryon of Kingston, the late Daniel (Cathy Buchanan of Smiths Falls) and Dorothy (Vince) Quattrocchi of Rideau Ferry. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ken, Jess, Alfred, Tom and Jack Crosbie, Jean Greer, Edith Devlin, Evelyn Ferguson, Gail Campbell, Judy James, Shirley Kargakos and Barbara Perry and the late Carmen, Terry and Jay Crosbie. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Reception at Hanley Hall. Interment, Oconto Cemetery, Sharbot Lake. In remembrance, donations to the St. Francis de Sales - Blessed Sacrament Parish Building Maintenance Fund would be appreciated.
