Austin, Evelyn Suddenly and unexpectedly in Kingston, on Friday, March 11, 2011, D. Evelyn (Simser) Austin at the age of 92. Wife of the late Earl R. Austin. Loved mother of Earl (Joanna) Austin of Lombardy and Gwen (Maurice) Derouin of Kingston. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Glenn (Megan), Kristina (Greg), Leanne (Scott) and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Vi Simser of Nepean and predeceased by brother Lloyd Simser and sister Alta Powell. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Louisa Simser. Fondly remembered by Donna (Ian) Petrie, Faye (Wayne) Shaeler, Alvin (Darlene) Powell, extended family, friends and especially her friends from the 'Wednesday Paint Group'. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St N., Smiths Falls on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 21, 2011at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Reception Centre and concluding with interment, at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. In remembrance, contributions to the Ontario S. P. C. A. - Leeds - Grenville, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lombardy or the Lombardy Agricultural Society would be appreciated.
