NORMAN, Rev'd Douglas Herbert John On Thursday, June 17, 2010, in Kingston General Hospital, the Reverend Douglas Herbert John Norman died in his 82nd year. Much beloved husband of Susan Anne. Predeceased by his first wife Millicent Mary. Father of Judith Mary (John Frederick MacDonald), Barbara Anne (William Meredith Macdonnell), Michael Peter, (Sally Elizabeth Baycroft), and the late William John. Grandfather of Julie Rebecca (Leerie Jenkins), stepfather of Paul and Amy Lalonde. Visitation will be held at Blair and Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on Monday June 21, from 2:00-4:00 and from 7:00-9:00 PM. The funeral service will be at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 2 George St. South, Smiths Falls, Ontario, on Tuesday, June 22, at 11:00 AM. Special thanks to the medical staff of Kingston General Hospital, especially to Dr. Fraser Saunders and the doctors and nurses of the stroke ward and of the ICU, and to the chaplaincy staff, especially Nancy MacMillan.
