Obituary of Eileen Wilma Goddard – June 25, 1948 - June 7, 2023 

Eileen Wilma Goddard passed away at home as she wished with her family at her side. Much loved and adored by her family; husband John and children Paula (Mike Denison) and Scott (Corry) Goddard. Cherished sister of Verna, Doris and Stephen. Eileen was predeceased by her parents Harry and Ruby Rathwell, siblings Allan, Ruth, Donnie, Judy and Janet Jean. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. 

Eileen was a quiet and extremely caring person who had a long career as a registered nurse mainly at the Kemptville District Hospital. She enjoyed travel, golfing, birds, flowers and above all spending time with family that she loved so much. 

The family offers special thanks to Dr. Luong. As per Eileen’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 245 Merrickville, Sunday, June 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
