Suddenly and unexpectedly, at home

Much loved and cherished life partner of Liz Follett. Step dad extraordinaire to Becky, Josh, and family, Matt, Marla and family, and Greg. Father to Tiffany Burrill and family, and Joshua Broadbent.

Survived by his mother, Freida (nee McLean) Broadbent and siblings Theresa (Dave), Steven (Kathy), Stewart (Sandra), Diana and David (Roxanne) and their families.

Rick had a huge impact on his adopted family, John and Ann Soar, Jacky and Brad Etson, Rachel and Claude Flande, and on anyone he befriended.

He will be missed by all those hearts he touched on his journey.

A Celebration of Rick’s Life will take place at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., July 5, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. A sharing of memories will begin at 2:00 p.m.
