July 15th 1930 -June 23rd 2023
It is with great sadness and a lifetime of wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Robert Chamberland. Bob passed away peacefully at the Perth Hospital in his 93rd year. He will be sadly missed by Isabelle (nee Hagan), his wife and best friend of 59 years and his loving children Lise (Robert Chevrier) and Marc (Kirsty). Robert was a devoted grandfather to Martin, Stéphanie and Emilie Chevrier and Grace Chamberland.
Also survived by brother-in-law Leonard Kelly and sisters-in-law Joanne (Stan Burley) and Carmel McCartney.
Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, René (Gisèle), Denise (Jean-Louis Raymond), Clément (Suzanne), Aline (Robert Legault) and Clémence. His sister-in-law, Noreen Hagan Kelly, brothers-in-law Hugh (Jeanne) Hagan and Jack McCartney.
He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
Bob had a long full life and will be remembered for his devotion to family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many other hobbies which included wood working, cooking and skiing. He and Isabelle travelled to many beautiful destinations over the years. Bob loved entertaining, always welcoming friends and family to enjoy a great meal.

We are grateful for the hard work of The Home and Community Care Support Services, enabling Bob to remain in his home for the past 2 years. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W, Perth on Wednesday June 28th 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, 38 Wilson St E, Perth on Thursday June 29th, 2023 at 10:00 am. Following the service a reception will be held in the Blair & Son Family Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perth and Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation or to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Perth.
