It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Evelyn Wright on Sunday, June 25th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 86. She was the cherished wife of Glen for 67 years.
Evie was the loving mother of Carol Ann (Dwayne) Dobbie, Jeffrey (Karen), and Lianne Wright. She was the devoted Nana to Josh (Paige Vandrunen), Emily and Jeremy Dobbie. Natasha (Shane Thomson), Katrina, and Jarrett (Amber Bailey) Wright. Adam (Candace) Timmons, Montana (Andrew) Stein, and Savannah Hayfron-Benjamin. She was the proud great-grandmother of 8.
Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Milton McCord, and brother, Elmer McCord. Survived by her siblings, Audrey (the late Allen) Blair, Barb (the late Elwin) McKinnon, Jim (Adelene) McCord and Judy (Vernon) Wheeler.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. West, Perth on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held in Glad Tidings Church, 160 Wayside Drive, Perth on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. followed by a reception.
