Deeply sorry to here of Barbara's passing. I was her bookkeeper for several years, a client and friend. She was untouchable when it came to anything to do with homes. A genius eye for detail. Condolences to the family. A huge loss.

My condolences to all of Barb's family, friends and co-workers and her passing.
I knew Barb when I worked at the Carleton Place Canadian as an Advertising Consultant so I would have worked on her real estate advertising for many years. Her eye for design and perfection was important to her from the start to the completed Sale of a listing. xo

Dear Connie, Jim, Ken, and Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Barb's passing, and would like to express my deepest condolences.
As a child growing up, I have good memories of either Barb being at our farm, or myself invading the Couch house, which was just a trek across the field! Lots of happy times, and probably some hard work also!
I was so impressed with her unique ability to pursue a predominantly male occupation, and raise the bar to such an impressive level.
My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
Sincerely,
Sheila Spence.

I met Barbara when we purchased a home from her and she also sold a home .she was the first person that staged homes very much a person ,well before her time in real estate ..she could see what would sell a home ..she was very good at this demanding job
I admired her tenacity..a woman of her time is very independent and had a lot of guts ,but was a very private person…she will be missed by many .My thoughts and prayers to her family on their loss .

Barbara was the most incredible force of nature. I had the great fortune to stage homes with Barbara and she never ceased to amaze me with her boundless energy and "can do" attitude. She had an incredible eye for showcasing the best attributes in every home and I learned invaluable lessons that have served me well. She had such high standards for herself and gave 120 percent without fail. She was strong woman with a smile that lit up every room and someone I will always be glad I had the chance to work with. She loved her family dearly and my condolences go out to all of you.

My wife Shelley and I had the privilege of meeting Barbara for the sale of our home. What an incredible selection on our part!
Barbara was awesome! Talent galore, staging, listing, experience and intelligence! Barbara seemed in her happy place, helping those to sell and / or purchase a house.
Fully invested in her responsibilities and so much intelligence and fortitude to see her responsibilities to the end!
She is far too young and far too caring to not be missed! Barbara, you are the Platinum Standard by which all be measured!

Barbara was a one of a kind in the best and richest sense--a trailblazer for professional and business women, an innovator, an entrepreneur--a sheer, powerful force of nature. I am enriched to have known her and feel a great sense of loss at her passing.
