Dear Wheeler Family: My heart was saddened to hear that dear Verna had passed away recently. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time of loss and sorrow. Verna was a good Christian friend of my dear mother Achsah Whan, for many years until my mother's passing away in September 2004. I remember dear Verna best by her kind heart for others and will never forget the lovely musical Christmas cards that she sent to my mother every year for so many years and the cheerful words of Christian love and Christmas greetings written therein. God richly bless you now in heaven dear Verna...an example of a true Christian friend indeed.

Lots and lots of childhood memories of being at the Wheeler farm. Verna was a dear neighbour and friend over the years. She lived a good long life and even though in the Nursing home for many years, still took time to correspond with old friends and neighbours. She had wonderful penmanship. Condolences to all the Wheeler families in the loss of a dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. I can recall a multitude of fond memories from your Mother's early years in Snow Road and then up through all the years that followed when our paths would cross and we would have a chat.
