John and I extend our deepest sympathies to you, Bruce, Theresa and the girls. Dave was part of our extended family and I will fondly remember time spent up at Lake Clear and at the Ullett home on Woodroffe (including the barn!). Not to mention the card games, capture the flag, kick the can to name a few at the Gillis cottage. Take care and may Dave Rest In Peace. Rita and John Sweeney
We wish to pass along our sincerest condolences to Maryke and family. Dave and Markye are our rural neighbours. As rural neighbours we were not considered to be 'close' but close enough to have socialized occasionally and friendly when meeting upon our roadway - which was often over the years Dave was quiet but happy to be a neighbour in our rural area. We were aware of his failing health and concerned. Neighbours informed us of Dave's 'passing' when we were away, as they knew that we had been away and wished to be kept informed. If we miss the reception (due to a long standing medical appointment) please know that we care Maryke. Bob and Ann Thompson
Dear Maryke. I’m so sorry for your loss. Dave was a big part of our family growing up. My condolences to Bruce and his family as well. I’m grateful that my brothers Mike and Jim were able to spend some quality time with Dave before he passed. Sincerely, June
My sympathies to Maryke and the Ullett families. Dave was my manager at PWGSC back in the day and was a great guy to work with. He mentored me into an eventual promotion and we continued to work together in Data Centre Operations until he retired. Always had a sense of humour, enjoyed going for a pint and was great with all the people that worked with him.

To Maryke and extended family. I am so sorry to hear of your husband's death. I will not be able to attend the Funeral but David and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. God Bless.
