Pat - So sorry to see that Jim has departed for that great meeting in the sky. I know there will be an immense void for a very long time, however you are truly blessed with having had so many years together. A Big Hug from someone who has journeyed with Lois W. at Bells Corners and Royal Ottawa and many other places - especially with Tom all those years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

To Pat and family, this is a sad day that I see my friend passing. Jim was a great person that I will always remember as a family man first then a sales guy for Motorola and Cantec second. Met Jim again after many years at the "fish 101" on Christie Lake, as I'm a director of Otty lake. Again my deepest sympathy.

Uncle Jim, Aunt Pat, Drew, Christine welcomed us time again into their home and I have many fond tellings of so.
The Lampmans shared their home in the summer and we, the Pattinson's more so in the winter.
Snowmobiling, hanging out and always fun, fun.
I will never forget Uncle Jim's laugh.
He and my dad would almost mimic each other with a slow but steady shoulder shake into a full, loud belly laugh.
I wish I could be there to give each of you a hug and take away the pain we all truly feel.

Friend
We have more than twenty years of friendship with Jim, and Pat, meeting at Bennett Lake as our cottages were being built. Fond,( some of them!) memories of putting our docks and boats in the water each Spring; so many dinners together; travelling by boat, car, golf cart, talking, laughing all the way. But most of all, our treks to Westport and Perth when Jim shared stories, thoughts, feelings, his wisdom. Courage, Pat. Love, Jan and Carl

Jim the Teacher
Jim Lampman was one of the best tutors we ever had at the Adult Learning and Training Centre. He was with us several years and all that time was cheerful, dedicated and encouraging not only to students but to staff as well. Jim was a whiz at teaching computer, and always managed to get his students laughing, no small task when teaching computer. He was a born teacher, handling his students with sensitivity and patience. We were blessed to have him and give thanks for his great generosity. Our condolences go out to the family of this wonderful man.
God bless you in this sad time,
Laura Mullin, (former staff) Adult Learning and Training Centre
