Dear Pete, Andrew and Chris, I am so very sorry to hear of Lynda's passing. Boys, I know it is very hard to lose your mom and my heart is very sad for you both. I have many wonderful memories of sitting in your kitchen talking with Lynda and you, Pete, when I was dropping off or picking up Dane from playing with you, Andrew. When I see that kitchen in my memory I can feel the warmth and love that was there. I know from more recent conversations with Lynda how very proud she was of both of you, Andrew and Chris. To Pete, Chris and Andrew...It was an honour to know Lynda, she took me under her wing 11 years ago and was a joy to work with at Foodsmiths. When I left years later I was always touched that she wanted to still know what news I had of my life to tell her when we met up even if several months had passed. She always asked how my "creatures" were (my 2 dogs :). I will always remember the care packages at Christmas time she would make for Chris and Andrew, coming over to my department to see what I had for her to put towards their boxes...and I was very touched when Pete and Lynda came and visited me at my store in Almonte. I am very sorry for not keeping in touch, she and I always picked up where we left off but now I wish I had made more of an effort to check up on her in the last few years. My sincere condolences to all of you, I don't have an address or phone number for you Pete since you moved to Perth so I hope this is ok. I will always have a special place in my heart for Lynda, she was a special friend that I always felt I could be truly myself with which can be a rare thing these days. It was a pleasure to know her and even though I sold my house and have moved to Almonte, if I can be of any service Pete, please let me know. Much love to all of you, Sara

I was so sorry to learn of your terrible loss.
Lynda and I worked together at Foodsmiths for years, she was a loyal, kind, generous friend. Lynda was devoted to her family and when she introduced me to her animals her great warm heart shone through. You are all in my prayers.
