Dear Dayna:
I do remember your Dad coming into the Pant Barn denim shop, when I worked there. He is four years older than me, and not the Jim that was in my class in public school. All those times we spoke at work, and we were speaking of two different people. I am so sorry that you have lost your father. He had a wonderful smile and he was very handsome....I do remember that. My prayers are with you and your family as you share memories and celebrate your dads life. I sure miss seeing you at Peters. Take care Dayna.

We are so thrilled you guys joined us on Ray's "Magical Mystery Bus Tour" to downtown toronto for his 40th, and for Jim dancing with Julie on our family room coffee table for her 40th! Take care and all our love. Ray & Julie.

Dayna & family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting your dad (a.k.a. Holmes on Homes) a few years ago when we made a trip up to the Clark family house. I have very fond memories of that weekend and of your dad. I remember us all playing in a makeshift golf tournament on your property, which soon became known as the Clark Classic (your dad even made a trophy!). I remember sitting on your porch, your dad with a guitar in hand, with wheat stalks (or most likely grass) in our mouths and trying our best at singing the blues. I remember us all sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast one morning over much banter and laughter. My memories of your dad are that of a generous, warm, fun-loving man. He sure made us lol. My deepest condolences.

Marion, Kayle, Dayna and Travis, our hearts go out to you at the loss of such a GREAT MAN.
He always made the day a little brighter when in his presence. We have so many fond memories of having JIMBO give us a day's training on what to do next in this part of the construction of our home. From the foundation to the roof. He had so much knowledge.
My fondest memory is after Jim did the footings for us, then showed us how to lay the "first course of blocks" JIMBO said to us.... "You're on your own now.... you couldn't pay me enough to lay these blocks. These blocks being the 65 - 70 pound hand made blocks that Grampa and Earl Wesley made with the sand from Silver Lake!!
Such a fine man, just a big tedddy bear!! One hug and you's know!! His wonderful outlook on life and humor always to brighten ones day.
You will be so sadly missed JIMBO.

Jim and I traded stories many a time at 4 am when he would come to plow me out so I could drive to work in Ottawa. He would often say that I should get a job closer to home and save him coming to plow me out. I fondly remember those times and I will miss him very much.
