From my wife Lynne and I. Our prayers go out to the family of this beautiful woman. Throughout college, gangs of us would visit the farm on the weekends and just hang out and be treated like family by Eleanor and Donald. She was so loving to all of us, it felt like home.
Now Eleanor has gone home to be with Donald. God bless you Eleanor, and please save us a few places at the table, as you always did for us at the farm.

Our paths have not crossed for many years, but we remember Eleanor as a very active member of Merivale United Church when she and Don, Karen, Alan and Diana lived in nearby Merivale Gardens. Her presence in the choir, both as a member and, for a short time, director and organist, contributed so much to the life of our church. Always caring and eager to help, with a wealth of energy, she was missed when the family moved to Smith's Falls. Our sympathy extends to Karen, Diana and their families.

I have just found out about Eleanor's passing. My fond memories of her originate with the Thousand Islanders Chorus in Brockville. She was a very capable singer in the bass section. When I changed from singing lead to bass, she was very supportive and encouraging to me. I only knew her for about the past 7 years but she was an inspiration to me. Her love and pride of her family and their activities with the horses were heartwarming. May God bless her and her family.

I wish to send my sincere condolences to Eleanor's family. I met Eleanor through the Thousand Islanders Chorus. She had a great bass voice and just loved to sing. It always enjoyed hearing about her trips abroad and all of her singing experiences. Rest in Peace Eleanor!

My friend Eleanor
Fondest memories of spending many a Saturday painting with Eleanor. Lots of chocolate, lots of paint, and stories of the past and present come to mind. You will be missed by many. I am sure you will also enjoy your new adventures, and that you will get up to something over there. xxxoooo Grace
