Being their tour guide in the Thompson and North Thompson
Grandma always showed her appreciation for even the smallest of things done for her and with her. She truely loved spending time with family and I am thankful we had the opportunity to be a little part of her life. We were so lucky to have the opportunity to spend time with her and her sister Helen when they came to BC. On one occasion we took them on a Thompson River dinnner cruise aboard the Wanda Sue. It was a beautiful evening spent with great company.
Another short road trip we took them on was into the jewel of the North Thompson, Wells Gray Park, the provincial park with an overwelming number of water falls. Here we showed them the most famous waterfall - Helmken and treated them to the flora and fauna of western Canada. We treasure these memories and reflect back on these times as we look at the pictures taken while we played tour guide of the Thompson and North Thompson areas in British Columbia.
