Hannah, Roderick Peter September 13, 1917 - March 21, 2013 (WWII Veteran, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery, 30 years as a stone mason and twelve years with Canada Post) In hospital, in Perth with the love of his family on Thursday, March 21st, 2013 Rod Hannah in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Hilda (Gibson) Hannah; much loved and respected father of Paul (Sharon), Peter and Mark (Mildred) Hannah. Cherished grandfather of Bill (Tammy), David, Andrew and Daniel and great grandfather of Sophie and Liam. Dear brother of Wes (Dorothy) and the late Christine (Bill) McIntyre, Charlie, Daniel (Verna), Olive (Allen) Campbell and first husband Elwood Gray; brother-in-law of Helen (Robert) McEwen, Robert (Gerry) Gibson, Betty Cooper, and the late David Gibson, Winnifred Wilson, Gladys Dalgleish, Joyce and Bill ‘Pete’ Gibson and Jacki Smith. Rod was a charter Member of Asbury Free Methodist Church, choir member and faithful Keenager for many years. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Lena Hannah, the Gibson families and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Sunday, March, 24th, 2013 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. and Monday, March 25th, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in Asbury Free Methodist Church, Perth on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment will be held in Robertsville Cemetery, Robertsville. In remembrance, contributions to Mississippi Free Methodist, Asbury Free Methodist or the Gideon’s would be appreciated.
