Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 following a courageous battle with cancer, Jeffrey Dean Barr at the age of 52. Beloved husband of Cynthia (nee McRae). Cherished father of Tommy and Jordan Barr. Jeff is the youngest son of Evalena (nee Mahon) and the late Harold. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Reg (Lorraine), Jack (Estra), Pat (Patsy), Richard (Kathy), and Duane (Ruth), as well as his sister Nancy (Greg) Williams. He is predeceased by his brother Gerald. Jeff will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Sandy Barr (Rory McKay), his mother-in-law Marie McRae, the McRae family, as well as his many extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 3 to 9 p.m. There will be a celebration of Jeff's life held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Tommy and Jordan's education funds.
