Aileen White(Pfeifer) of Perth ON was called by God today to come and sit with Him and rest awhile. Her husband Jim welcomed her with open arms and Heaven rejoiced at their reunion. A kind and loving woman, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, Gigi and mother-in-law, Aileen is finally home. Aileen passed away peacefully on April 24, 2013 at 90 years of age with her loving family at her side. She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Josephine Pfeifer (Riffl), her loving husband of 57 years Jim and her sister Helen Lafferty. She will be deeply missed by her sister Beatrice and brother-in-law Tom (Mascaro), her son Rick and wife Joan, son Bill and wife Sharon, daughter Cindy and husband Clarence (Hamby), daughter Susan and husband Greg (Kendrick) and daughter Mary and husband Mark (Lawrenson); her cherished grandchildren Becky and Jeff White; James White and Kathleen Cianci; Jennifer and Lauren Kirkham; Kelly Ahuja, Jacqui and Matt Kendrick ;and Emily and Josh Hann as well as her two precious great-grandchildren Jayden Kendrick and Keira Boyce. We will always love her, remember her and miss her. Good bye Aileen until we see you again. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the 2nd floor nursing staff at the GWM Perth Hospital for their kindness and compassion during our Mother’s illness. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Monday, April 29th, 2013 from 1:30 until service in the Chapel at 2:30 P.M. Interment will be held for the family in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
