Sheil, York W. Peacefully on Tuesday June 11th, 2013 at the age of 90 years. York was predeceased by his parents John M. and Melinda (Bennett) Sheil, sisters Marjorie Curtis, Maude Scott, Florence Barclay and Olive McLean, brothers Percy, Owen, Keith and in infancy Nelson. He was the loved and respected father and grandfather of Earl (Angie), Kevin (Cindy) and their daughters Melissa and Chelsea and Bradley (Wanda) and their family Stephanie, Matthew, Bryan and Melinda. York will be sadly missed by brother John Sheil, sisters Linda (Jack) Soward and Ida Johnston, sisters-in-law Ellemae and Joan Sheil, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Thursday June 13th, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Friday at 10:30 A.M. followed by reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. Interment, Crawford Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Lanark Alzheimer Society Day Away Programe or fund of choice would be appreciated.
