Uncle Wayne, Kathy, Jude and families,,,,,My sincerest and heartfelt sympathies to all of you. Such a hard road for you all to have travelled. In her time. Aunt Arlene was a vibrant woman, and I was fascinated with her quick wit, her sharp tongue and thoroughly enjoyed having her as my honorary Aunt......too many memories to share, but know they are all treasured

A lovely lady
What a lovely woman struck by a horrible disease just by looking at the pictures and hearing the stories from her amazing family we the staff of Broadview got to know Arlene before Alzheimer's. Her smile could light a room and she loved to dance and shop a woman after my own heart. When she first moved into Broadview she made many friends with staff and residents and as her disease progressed she may not have been able to communicate to us or know who we were but we still loved her and cared for her as we were friends for life. She will be missed at Broadview along with her great family. Another angel to light the sky

English House Tea Pot
I was blessed to have Arline in my life for over 40 years. When I think of her I have lots of good times to remember; like sitting in the kitchen at 56 Marsha Drive having green tea from her "English House Tea Pot". The many times we played golf together, shopped in the US for the grandchildren, as you know Arline felt that it was her responsibility to spoil the grandchildren. Must say I totally agreed with her and continue to carry on that philosophy. We had lots of laughter over Ray's rubber chicken, she would believe everything he told her. He was good at pulling her leg. We shared many sad times too! The loss of friends such as Connie and some family members too. When Murray and I moved back to Smiths Falls from Brampton, Murray stayed at her Dad's lake house while waiting to move in our new home. We had a special bond, enjoyed holidays together, weekend trips, and just sitting have that cup of green tea (or white wine). Murray and I will always treasure the memories of our many times together with her, Wayne, and the family. Our hearts share your loss deeply, and may God bless Arline and her family always. She was the wind beneath my wings. Carole
