Jackson, Barrie William Spinks Barrie William Spinks Jackson passed away on August 13, 2013 at the age of 81 surrounded by his family. Barrie was the loving husband of Marny and father to Stephen, Michael, Kyle and Wendy and grandfather to Cavan, Rowan, Will, Mac, Jasper, Julia, Lilly, Jade, Madeline and Olivia. Barrie was a highly accomplished process engineer and after a long career in industry, he went on to serve as an adjunct professor in the engineering faculty of Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario where he made enormous contributions to design education. He will be missed by his family and his many friends and acquaintances. The Family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
