Sorry to hear my great aunt Dorothy has passed away.She did not know me last time we spoke at Lanark Lodge.but I remember many a visits with her and uncle Tom in my grandmothers front porch.That was a long time ago,yet seems like yesterday.Our thoughts go out to the family.Jim and Patti

My Mom, Florence Porter, shared a room at Lanark Lodge with Dorothy and they got along very well, sharing much of their familiar rural experiences. Two precious ladies who respected each other and added to the quality of each other's lives. Dorothy was very proud of her family and spoke of you often, and always enjoyed Tim Hortons coffee when we would go to visit them. Memories from the farm days at the Miller Residence at Elphin
I spent many weekends at the home of Dorothy and Tom Miller while attending dances at Ompah with Margaret andTom and Dorothy. Dorothy was always very congenial and full of laughter and fun. She always made some very special meals including venison dinners and fried fish. Dorothy was a relative but she also was a special friend.
