There are no words to describe the magnitude of our loss. Diane was an angel who walked among us .. a ray of light & an instigator of joy & laughter. An exemplary mother, a wonderful friend, an inspiration to us all. My heart goes out to George & Greg. This has been very difficult for us all. Just a great loss to all who had the privilege to know her. I love you Diane.

I was a scientist at CCI when Diane first began her work as a conservator there. She was a very imaginative and determined conservator - anxious to introduce new methods that she had learned in Europe. She was also great fun. I was really sorry to learn that she had died - it came as quite a shock actually as I had seen her within the last year at a retirement party. She was a free spirit and had a lovely personality - I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to her family.

It was with shock and sorrow that I learned of Diane's passing. I have been blessed with her friendship since the mid 70's. Though our paths would diverge for years, by serendipity they would converge again as though no time had passed. She was always a spark, her outrageous laugh always at the ready. She was a unique and forward-thinking individual whom I always admired and respected. Diane, the world is a sadder place without you. Travel well my friend.

I was very saddened and shocked to hear of Diane's passing. I only heard in late March from a mutual friend. Although I haven't seen Diane in many years she was definitely one of those people who made a lasting impression and you always felt you would see again.
I have many fond memories of her house In the Gatineau's and her infectious laugh which she shared with everyone.
A very positive force that is not forgotten.
