Peacefully in hospital, Smiths Falls, after residing for almost 21 years at Lombard Manor, Carol Ann Joynt passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 72. Predeceased by her parents Ormand Cecil Joynt and Gertrude Joy (Pritchard) Joynt. Loved sister of Norma (Clarence) Niblock of Smiths Falls, Phyllis (the late Alton) Gould of Sault Ste. Marie, Lois (the late Robert) Favro of Churchville, NY and Russell (Joan) Joynt of Lombardy. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Lombard Manor for their exceptional care and concern over all these years, and to Dr. Pierce, Dr. Toth and the staff in the ICU - Smiths Falls for their care and compassion as well. Services and Interment at Rideau Ferry Cemetery will be held in the spring. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Smiths Falls Free Methodist Church.
