Roberts, M. Helena Peacefully at her home in Lanark, on Monday, April 14th, 2008 Helena Mary (McIntosh) Roberts at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late J. Mervin Roberts who predeceased her in 1987. Dearly loved mother of J. Douglas and his wife Ruby Roberts of R.R. # 1 Lanark and Barbara (late Walter) Arnsdorf of Port Moody, B.C. Dear sister of Margaret (late Lou) Duval of Lanark and dear aunt of Elizabeth (Bill) Still. Predeceased by her brother Morley and his wife Hilda McIntosh and her infant brother George. Helena ‘Grandma Neenie’ will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and her numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all her family, her friends, Eastern Star sisters and her St. Andrew’s church family. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Friday, April 18th, from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. In remembrance, contributions to St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The Order of the Eastern Star will assemble for service Friday at 8 P.M.
