Mason, Leon David Past President of Mason Boats Ltd. Passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer at St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the age of 74. Loving husband and best friend of Faye (nee Campbell). Devoted father of Shawn (Christine) Mason and Crystal Ann Mason, and cherished grandfather of Callie Mason. Leon is survived by his siblings Leona (Donnie) Schultz, Garnet (Elaine) Mason, Ken (Dianne) Mason, and Goldie (Don) Kane. Leon is predeceased by his parents David and Carrie (nee Baker) Mason as well as his sister Daphne Paul. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 2 o'clock. Private interment will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or the Kingston General Hospital, Cancer Research or St. Vincent de Paul Palliative Care Unit.
