Emon, Ray (Ernest) Suddenly at his home in Lanark on Saturday, May 10th, 2008 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Edna (Echlin). Dearly loved father of Beverly (Steven) King, Danny (Joanne), Nancy (Wayne) Cameron, Peggy (Mark) Bingley, Kathleen ‘Rosie’ (Marcel) Paradis, Lesa (Cameron) Bennett and Robin (Stephen) Knight. Cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Son of the late Walter Roy and Ida (Crawford) Emon. Dear brother of Thelma (Tony) Senack, Andy (Connie), Victor (Anna Mary), Eric, Catherine (Clifford) Johnson, brother-in-law of Gertie, Agnes and Shirley Emon and the late Bill, Betty Senack, Earl, Frank, Janet and Keith (Ruth). Ray was the brother-in-law of Emma (Gerald) Desjardine, Margaret Milotte and Annie Smith; he will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, all his family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Monday, May 12th, 2008 from 7 to 9 P.M. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Blair & Son Chapel on Wednesday, May 14th at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery, Lanark. In remembrance, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or Alzheimer of Lanark County would be appreciated.
