Craig, Alison Ruth. Vice Principal, Upper Canada District School Board. Peacefully, with her family, in hospital at Perth, Ontario on May 19th, 2008, Alison Ruth Craig in her 54th year. Beloved daughter of Ruth and the late Dr. Ross Craig. Sister to Andrew, John (Trinh) and Matt (Tracy). Devoted mother of Eric, Owen and Johanna. Alison was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and friend. She was a champion of literacy and brought the gift of reading to many children. She will be particularly missed by the staff and students of the Upper Canada District School Board. The funeral service for family and friends will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Perth on Saturday May 24th at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. In lieu of gifts and flowers, donations to the United Way of Lanark County-Literacy Fund for Children or the Great War Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
