Adrain, James "Jim" F. Passed away peacefully in hospital, Perth on Friday, May 30th, 2008 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Edna (Jackson). Loving father of Gordon (Kim) and Mark (Dawn). Cherished "Poppa" of Adam, Ashlee, Meghan and Jayna and great-grandfather of "Poppa's Little Hunter" Jacob. Predeceased by his parents Don Adrain and Kathleen (Norwood). Jim will be fondly remembered by his siblings Harry (Eleanor), Betty, Robert (Irene), Anne (Jim), Eddie (late Deborah), Delbert (Debbie), Noreen (Bob), Mike, Janice (Paul), George (Connie) and the late Bernice (John) Harris, Arden, and Donny. Jim was a brother-in-law to Betty and Roxanne Adrain. Jim will be forever missed by Edna's family, Jim's nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Our entire family would like to thank the staff at the Perth Hospital, Ottawa Cancer Clinic and the St. Elizabeth Nurses for their outstanding care and support during Jim's illness. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Monday, June 2nd, 2008 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. John's Church at 9 a.m. Private Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Perth Hospital Foundation, the Ottawa Cancer Clinic or to the St. Elizabeth Health Care Foundation.
