John was a great teacher, a wonderful neighbor, and a caring friend. He always enjoyed having his friends around, and welcomed everyone to his home. I still remember him taking the time to grow all those violets!! Who woulda thought! The streets were a safer place to drive on when John was giving those driving lessons! Thanks, John, for all that you did to make the world a better place.

I had Mr Doyle as my grade 4 teacher, I am now 42 so that was a few years ago. I have thought of him very fondly over the years. He was a wonderful man, I had so much fun in his class. I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to be his student. My thoughts and prayers are with his family through this very difficult time.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Johns passing. John taught our son at St Francis School,and to this day,John remains one of our sons favourite,and most repected teachers.John had a way of making students believe in themselves,because he was able to let students know he believed in them.
