Sending my sincere condolences to all of Marion's family. Marion will be missed by all who knew her at Lanark Lodge. Marion was a sincere/right to the point lady and that is why I always had a good connection with her while she lived at Lanark Lodge. Take care of each other at this difficult time.

Another Maberly "MOM" has gone to her rest.
Why is it as we age, only then do we realize the influence certain people had on your life.
The door was always open to the Maberly boys and girls.
Our thoughts and prayers are witth you in your time of sorrow.

We were very sorry to hear of Marnie's passing, as Mom ( Hilda Truelove) used to call her. I heard many a story of Mom & Marnie's teenage years together. Never got to meet Marnie until she was in the lodge. What a great lady. She shared lots of good times she had with my dad ( Cliff Truelove)) as they grew up together also. Will miss seeing her at lodge when I visit mom. Our thoughts & prayers are with your family at this difficult time!!

My Second Mom

From a very little boy until adulthood Aunt Marion was a very important part of my life. Her home was always full of joy and laughter and I loved spending as much time as possible there. In the last years Donna and I looked forward to our visits with Aunt Marion at her home in Maberly and later at the Lanark Lodge. We loved hearing all her stories about family. I repeatedly told her that she had to stay around forever because she was our family history book. She was so proud of her family and displayed pictures of all of them in her room at Lanark Lodge and always told us what everyone was involved in. Even though she had her ownl children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she still had room in her heart for us and always made us feel special and loved. We loved her and are sure going to miss her

Our deepest condolences to Neil, Pat, Bill, and all their families.
