It was a long and hard struggle but John was one of the toughest individuals I have ever known. Wonderful person to curl with as well. We will miss him.

Skiing

I have several great memories of John - but the one foremeost in my mind is John skiing the slopes at Pakenham wearing his red/orange toque so 'the kids' could find him. These were not his children, but my niece and nephew from Chile, in Canada to experience a winter of 'lots of snow' and extremely cold weather.</p>
<p>
John and Leslie were so great with Melisa and Nicolas in Jan & Feb 2007.</p>
<p>
You will be greatly misssed John, but will forever be in our hearts.</p>
