GOODFELLOW, Jeanette Agnes (nee Gillespie) - Passed away peacefully at Fairmount Home in Glenburnie, Ontario on May 7, 2015, in her 96th year. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald and her son, Braden. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Dawn Zintel Croft (Frank); son, Kevin and Muriel Pryce; daughter-in-law Janet (Braden), and grandchildren Alex (Devon), Kerry (Dylan), and Ryan Goodfellow and Caitlin Croft. Jeanette is survived by her brother, George (Bud) Gillespie. A veteran of World War II, Jeanette was one of the first 100 women to sign up with the Canadian Women's Army Corp. She served in Montreal and London, England and left the service with the rank of Sergeant. Following the war, she married and settled near Trenholmville, Quebec where she and Donald farmed and raised prize-winning Holsteins. In retirement, they split their time between Kingston and Lombardy, Ontario. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Smiths Falls.
