Code, Gwena Marion (nee Beggs) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Central West Hospice at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late W. Lawrence Code. Loving and devoted mother of Bill (Donna) Code and Alanna Code and her husband Ian Frei. Cherished grandmother of Kyle and Adam Code. Gwena is predeceased by her parents Clifton and Pearl Beggs. She will be sadly missed by her sister Audrey (Donald) Black, as well as her extended family and many friends in the Perth and surrounding area. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate Gwena’s life will take place on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Paul’s United Church, Perth at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Ottawa or the Canadian Cancer Society.
