Ridewood, M. Dolores In hospital, Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, Mary Dolores (Hogan) Ridewood in her 83rd year. Predeceased by husband Kenneth Ridewood in 1999. Survived by daughter Deborah Dougherty and her husband Roger of Kemptville and son-in-law Howard Smolkin. Predeceased by her daughter Patricia Smolkin in 1991. Daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Hogan. Loved grandmother of Derek Smolkin, Ryan Smolkin (Tanya), Nicole Shapiro (Michael), Christopher Dougherty (Holly), Aleah Dougherty and great-grandmother of Neilah and Ben Shapiro, Nate and Sam Smolkin. Dear sister of Marie Northmore of Kingston, Ronald Hogan of Smiths Falls and Gary Hogan (Carl) of Midland. Sister-in-law of Theresa Hogan and Phyllis Mallette both of Smiths Falls, Margaret Hogan of Kingston, Norma Scott of Perth and Eunice Ruppel of St. Marys. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Doreen Carscadden, William Hogan, Norma Running, John "Jack" Hogan, Frank Hogan, Vincent Hogan and Edward Hogan. A graveside service will be held at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Smiths Falls on Friday August 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will follow at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Reception Centre, Smiths Falls, to celebrate Dolores' life and legacy. Donations to the Smiths Falls Community Hospital in support of the purchase of a CT Scanner would be appreciated. Dolores' family would like to thank the Staff at the Smiths Falls site of the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital. The care they provided not only to Dolores but to the entire family is appreciated and will be remembered for many years to come.
