Up at his balcony wondering as the pool finally opened he would for sure come out or yell down to me
Mike was so kind and friendly no matter what he was dealing with
He always had a smile and a hello

Just wish he knew what an impact he had on other people's life

Mike was a fellow amateur radio operator and friend for many years. I will certainly miss talking to him as he walked around the harbour area. We often swapped information and frequencies. I can't help but think of how many people he helped while working for the ambulance service.
