I knew Paul because my brother Paul Kerr attended the day program at Life Skills. He was a happy young man. I remember at the Christmas party, the girls got him up to dance and he was so happy. I am so sorry for your loss. My brother, Paul, passed away in December, and we miss him dearly. Know that your Paul is at peace, and that he had wonderful friends, and caregivers who loved him. May he rest in the arms of our Lord.

Sending heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of Paul. It has been many years since any of the Lane family has resided at our home near Dalhousie Lake but I have very vivid memories of Paul swimming from raft to raft and always happy to be "going really fast" with his flippers on. Thinking of all the McKinnon Family today - those who have passed and those who are now the keepers of the memories.

My sympathies to the family and to Paul's friends. Paul David introduced me to the world of country music on his 67's. I can still sing the "All I have to do is act naturally"song that he played one summer while I was visiting. As a child I was in awe of his supper strength. I have so many wonderful memories of my cousin.

Perhaps not appreciated by the rest of the family so much, however there can be no doubt Paul sure enjoy the drum kit I gave him those oh so many years ago. He loved his music.

My summer with Paul....as per the custom of dropping wayward children off at The Farm, I spent one summer and fall with Phyillis and Frank and Kelley and Paul. Paul made a lasting impression to say the least. The scratchy music blaring from his old player( was it old then, or is it me now?), full throttle singing and boot stomping, bear hugs, enthusiastic enjoyment of food, and his never ending smile. What a guy! And did he ever love to display his strength...for a young girl to see him lift, carry, tackle, animate and inanimate objects alike, it was mesmerizing.
It's right up there in my top 10 childhood memories.... And I have told my family about Paul often. It never fails, but when an Elvis tune is played, I see Paul, singing along, enjoying life to the fullest.
My sympathies to all of Paul's family,(my cousins), and to all of his dear friends.
