Obituary of Homi Rustum Chinoy
Homi Rustum Chinoy
March 20th, 1921 ~ July 29th, 2015
Homi Rustum Chinoy will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Perviz, son Firdaus and daughters Yasmin and Niloufer as well as Teri and Shantele who grew up with him. Homi will also be greatly missed by Andrew, Jamie, Giuliano and all of his grandsons, Shane, Aidan and Logan and by his great grandsons, Maxwell, Dylan and Dennis. Perviz and Homi have known each other since Perviz was 15 years old (over 70 years) and were married for 61 wonderful years. Homi was a veteran of World War II where he proudly served his country, the Commonwealth and our Allies. Homi will soon be with Ahura Mazda in garo-demana once his spirit has left the vicinity of his body. It is then that he will cross his chinvat bridge which he has constructed over his lifetime into garo-demana. He will forever be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Friends and family joined for a Ceremony to remember Homi's life at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Friday, July 31st, 2015.
