Buckley, Diane E. Reg. N. VE3IGG Diane passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 08, 2015 at the age of 71. Beloved wife and best friend of Wayne D. Henwood. Much adored and loved by her son Daniel MacLennan (Fiona), her sisters Daphne and Annabel and her brother Geoffrey. She will be sadly missed by Wayne’s children, Daniel (Joanne), Sue (Allan), Diane (Jim), Catherine (Randy) and Mike. Fondly remembered by her extended family and many good friends. Diane was a dedicated and caring nursing professional who had over 30 years of service in the OR at the Smiths Falls Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her former work colleagues, doctors, nurses, support staff and patients. Our thanks to Dr. Siobhan Muldowney and the nurses of St. Elizabeth Health Care for enabling her to die in comfort and at home. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A service in celebration of Diane’s life will be held in the chapel at 12:00 noon.
