Abromeit, Heinz Herbert Heinz passed away peacefully at Mapleview Lodge, Athens, Ontario on Sunday May 17, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Hertha (Knobel) Abromeit. Loved father of Werner Abromeit and Michael (Judith Gorman) Abromeit. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Richard (Cheryl Eveleigh) Abromeit, Naomi (Christopher) Bouwmeester and great-grandchildren Sierra and Vala. Dear brother of Walter, Ida, Rudolf, Marta, Hanna, Ilsa, Eva, Greta, and Hans Joachim. Predeceased by his parents Rudolf and Johanne (Karpowitz) Abromeit. Fondly remembered by his extended family in Canada and in Germany. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls, Ontario on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 2:00 pm until service in celebration of Heinz's life at 3:00 pm.
