Wallace, Hazel (nee Hammes) In hospital in Perth on Saturday September 13th, 2008, one day prior to her 94th birthday, Hazel Hammes-Wallace. Hazel was born and grew up in Arlington, Iowa and married in 1932, her cherished late husband, Charles D. Wallace. She will be sadly missed by her son Robert Wallace and son-in-law William Widenmaier of Smiths Falls, her grandchildren Robert Wallace, Wanita Andress, Wendi Hudson and Wanda Jill Widenmaier, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She was predeceased by her loved daughter Wanda Widenmaier on September 16th, 2000. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Monday September 15th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Diabetic Society or fund of one's choice would be appreciated. Hazel joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 1942; they will hold a Service of Remembrance Monday at 6:00 P.M.
