Hughes, Raymond E. Passed away peacefully in hospital, Perth on Thursday, September 25th, 2008 in his 82nd year. Cherished husband of the late Jean (Allan) who passed away only 5 weeks prior to Ray. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Lorna (Frank) Leaver-Kerr of Perth, and Jean (Harold) Doyle of Joyceville. Ray will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, and their many families and many good friends. He was the son of the late Ernest Hughes and Margaret (Yack). Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Sunday, September 28th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul's United Church on Monday at 11 o'clock, followed by a reception in the Church Hall. In remembrance, contributions to the Shriner's Hospital or the Memorial Fund of St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated.
