I was Bev's roommate at Carleton in 1976-77. We had a great time together then and in the few years that followed. Unfortunately, we had lost touch and through a mutual friend from those days, I learned of her passing. I am very, very saddened but consoled by the fact that she had a wonderful marriage and children, and a fulfilling career with a large circle of friends and colleagues who obviously cared for her deeply. Sincere condolences to all of her family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tim, and your loving, supportive family. I had first met Bev at RRC when she worked in recreation. I had not seen her for years until we took a glass class at Lisa Stewarts. Let me tell you, what a fantastic day we had laughing at breakage, helping each other and just generally reconnecting. There will be days that you think you can't go on. You feel guilty if you laugh. Believe me, it honors their memory to go forward and to live life as a tribute to Bev and her love of life, family and friends. We were all blessed that got to meet and know a little bit about Bev. You all must be so very proud of Bev and the legacy she leaves behind. Huge, healing hugs.

Dear Brett and Alanna, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a sweetheart the few times I met her with my dad! Just by her genuine smile you could tell she wouldn't hurt a soul. It's never easy loosing a parent, this I know. Cherish all the good memories and hold them close to your heart. Life doesn't make sense sometimes but always remember you have one beautiful guardian angel watching over you and your family everyday.
Take care!

Our sincere heartfelt condolences to the Buchanan family. We heard the news of Bev’s passing through Chris McKeage. Bev was a member of the Noble Nights. Five of us lived together in Ottawa in a house with a dog called Noble. We have wonderful memories and many pictures of our time together. Unfortunately we lost contact with Bev when we all married and started having children. Bev was a wonderful person with a fabulous smile and sense of humour.
